Sup World? Been way too long since the kid laid something down.. Been laggin mad hard, but umm, I'm back on it.. Bet.. Shouts out to the folks who been in my ear bout me not bloggin too, shows that folks actually enjoy it, that's dope.. But umm, it's been a coooooo minute so let me catch yall up.. Warp Speed..

My Hoop season ended man, on a bad one, Semi Finals in the Conf Tourney, and with that my college career is over (barring some amazing paperwork, but we won't dive into that).. But umm, that L hurt, for reals.. I'm guessin I played decent from what everyone said, but I needed that W.. But, "can't dwell on the past, do well in the future" (D.No).. Easy.. So we on to the next venture.. Overseas? I'm wit it..

Schoo was workin the kid out tho to keep it funky.. Teach from this Environmental Racism class must've thought we was in High Schoo cuz she kept giving us mad tedious work, which I never did.. Dug myself a decent size hole, but climbed up out that mug.. Today actually is the first day of my break, matta a fact.. Had to wing my way through a presentation today, and I aint tryna sound cocky, but I murdered that shi (Weezy voice).. Hahhahaah.. Hopefully pulled an A tho, need that guy, to stay a C and up.. And pulled an 87% on my Final Test? What? Niice.. But yeh, kid now on Spring Break, prolly aint gon do nothing, ahahhaha.. Just tryna sleep.. Peep how cold my schoo played me tho.. My Spring Break is also our break between quarters.. Aint that boutta.. That got me low key hot, but oh well.. All in all, I think I'm pretty decent in my classes (Hopefully ahaha)..

And you know I got that LASERS, ohhh yeeeehhhh.. It's funny cuz, easily, 20 people hit me asking how I liked the album.. But umm, I'll drop my opinion later..

That's basically where we at now tho.. Let's speak on this Japan joint for a sec tho.. This stuff is getting kinda crazy, 2012 is low key happening ahahha.. I be joking bout that all the time but damn, just recently a few things done happened due to the climate, Hurricane, Earthquake, Earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear Threat that kinda set aside the whole coincidence thing.. It's crazy man.. And my mans put me on with this conspiracy theory saying that if you add the two dates on 9/11/2001 and 3/10/2011 (Japan) they equal 12/21/2012 ("Doomsday").. WOW.. That's beyond crazy to me.. It's possible it could just be overthinking but the possiblility goes both ways.. Ya dig.. Either way tho, I'm going to Africa.. Hahhahahaha..

Aside from that tho, I been heavy with this music stuff man.. Been downloadin mad tapes lately.. So I'm gon throw out my opinion on these joints..

Jhene Aiko: Chick off that July song with Drake.. She is Japanese if you please ahaha, na but I mainly got the joint cuz she cute.. Pretty decent man, only spun twice.. But she gotta few tracks with someone name HOPE featured on em, he coo.. I'm guessing I should rate these 1-10, so I'll give this a 7 for now, til later spins..

Los: I aint got no tape or nothing from dude, but he kinda decent.. Heard him on Fall For Your Type, he killed that, went bananas, no ape, on this No Love freestyle vid I peeped a few weeks back.. Look out for dude I'd say.. Got decent range so I'll throw cuz a 7 for now..

Phil Ade: My cuz EPerry put me on.. Dude is niice.. Think he from DC, but he sound like Wale (flow, and voice low key).. But he got some real coo joints on his tape The Letterman.. Ones off top I digs is Worth Your Time and The Jacket.. I'll give dude a solid 8..

Mac Miller: I have no idea who this guy is, but Twitter was all over this guy so I had to listen.. I got like half way through the tape and was like na, I'm coo on dude.. He just sounds like a white guy trying to rap to me.. Grade at like a 5, he wasn't horrible to listen to, and I made it through like half which aint too bad..

Dom Kennedy: Again, Twitter made me get this, ahahah.. And my mans Buss said he was dope.. Ummmmm.. I made it to the 2nd song in the tape and that was it.. Wasn't feelin dude.. He reminds me of Game, but terrible, and his beats was wack.. Rating? 1

Pac Div: Heard these guys on XM up North in the van, so I decided to get they stuff.. Real decent man.. I'm a fan of groups, so that was already a plus.. They was iight tho man, I listened to the whole tape, so that's saying a lot ahahha.. Just rap about random stuff, so I'll give them a solid 7(.5).. Good music..

Travis Barker: I had to get this with all them features man.. CD was iiiight.. I thorougly liked about 3 or 4 joints.. One with Lu and Pharrell is dope as is the one with Bun B, Kobe and Beanie Sigel (Favorite).. I'll give this guy a 6 outta 10.. It's iight, it's just people on there I don't be feelin..

Kevin Mcall: Shouts to my mans Smitty who put me on this one.. I was feelin the first joint, so off that I'll give cuz a 8.. But rating had to go down to a 7, too much singing on there, I was confused if he was a gangster, or a rapper, or a singer.. But half the tape was decent so we stickin with a 7..

Lupe Fiasco: The long awaited LASERS dropped and you already know I went and copped that guy for $10.95 at Target.. Although it aint the usual Lu, it's still dope.. Certified.. He went more studio on this album, but I digs it cuz the label was all in his ear and on his head.. But you can still sense the "Super Lupe Lyrical" in the lyrics.. Hands down, favorite joint.. #1 with Sarah Green, Letting Go, appreciate that mug to the fullest, great track.. As far as a rating goes, I'm gonna go 9.. MDMA? I don't know who that is, but they got vocals, and they on like 3 or 4 songs..

That's all the music I can think of off the top tho.. Just my opinion, disregard it, take it, or whatever, don't matter to me.. I had something else brewing in my mind, but of course I done forgot it, so guess we'll leave it at that.. Look out for my mans Cali Buss, we dropping stuff this summer.. Bet.. Back at it after a little hiatus..

My bad folks, I been laggin on the entries.. Aint been on the comp as much, but we back.. Or he back, rather me back..

Let's start with the present and present the fact that it's Gameday!!!!!.. We got San Fran State tonight in the Eagles Nest and it's Homecoming.. Niiiiccceeee..

It's weird to me when people ask if I think we gon win.. Hahahha, like do you ever expect, or want, to lose in anything? I'm pretty sure I want to win every game I play in.. But maybe, I'm trippin..

Anyway, plan on getting the W tonight..

I caught via my Yahoo homepage, that the Egypt prez finally resigned.. That was a smart move since I figured he prolly had a billion hits out on him since he decided not to mention anything about resigning during his speech earlier in the week.. I know the Egyptian people was hot about that.. But I guess they happy as H now.. I don't know what's gon happen out there now, but I remember reading a couple weeks back that his son would take over I believe (could be wrong, but if I'm right, I'm not too sure that that'll make things better).. The aftermath of all that activity should be quite interesting, I'll try and follow it and see what's up..

This week has been interesting to say the least.. Took the hardest midterm of my life in that got dern Philosophy class.. I'm pretty sure the whole class was lost on that one.. Hahhahahaha.. It was essay/short answer format, which kinda helps the student (i feel), cuz you at least earn a few points off just straight bullin your answer versus on a multiple choice you either right or wrong.. Well see what the results of that guy are prolly next week.. I'm pushin for at least a C.. Mm hmm..

The kid got hit with another short answer midterm that following day.. That one wasn't as bad, but it was kinda bad ahahaha.. Maybe I'll pull at least a C as well on that one.. Shoulder shrug.. I'm beyond over schoo.. But umm..

That Big Sean J.Cole concert was last night at my schoo.. And that shi was soooo tight.. "It was a gang of b*****s" ahahhaha.. Na, but it was real coo man (and it was some nice looking chicks, most prolly don't go to my schoo tho, or they in hiding, I'm coo on that tho).. 2nd concert I've ever been to.. Big Sean was iiiight to me, like he had some coo tracks or whatever.. But after watching him last night, he made my list of "decent artists" ahahah.. He a little ass nigga, but he was a coo performer.. His 6's was cold as hell too.. The comedians they had was funny too, made the show that much more tight.. J.Cole finished the night off, and if you know me, you know I'm laid back, lazyboy chair style, but that nigga had me hyped.. Hahahha.. The chick next to me had to be hot cuz I kept bumpin her with my "Superhero shoulders" ahahha.. She was coo tho, she was low key rockin with me.. Shouts out my Team that made it too B, Ling Ling, Smitty, O, and JayNado.. But umm, back to the show, I must've recorded like 75% of Coles set.. That shi was dope, rapped damn near every song, his DJ was tight, hit a lil solo, reminded me of Q in Juice.. Hahahhaha.. All in all, a real good night/show.. Tempted to hit Sutra in Irvine Saturday night to see Cole perform again but idk bout that one.. He's a good performer, but as far as it stands, Lupe, to me, performs the best.. But my list of acts I've seen is limited to Big Sean, Lu, and Cole, so my say aint much..

Watching the performances tho, made the kid really wanna step in this music game heavy.. I aint tryna rap really, but I just wanna be somewhere in the mix, just feel like that shi would be mad fun.. If my mans stop bullin, we might can make somethin happen.. I'm cosigning my mans Cali Buss.. So go to iTunes, myspace, facebook, twitter, youtube, wherever to hear this guy, I swear he's nice, real nice.. Just gotta get to the right spot, and I'm tryna make that happen.. Yep, put it on my short list of goals..

Aside from all that, on the real I'm over here stuck with how to fix this situation I got goin on.. Vibe aint clickin like it was about a week ago.. I got a major move that should go through, but contemplating whether or not to make it.. Gotta think about this one.. But in the meantime, between time, I'm a go head and keep vibin to these tunes and get ready for this Game, mentally.. I'll get back with yall.. Oohp, big ups to my RCC Tiger Fam, won Conference.. Big ups to my mans Smitty for the input in entry 3.. I hear you on the Carter 2 being a dope album.. Hustler Music is easily one of my favorite tracks.. And The Mobb is a track that everyone seemed to have slept on, he came hard on that joint.. The hunger Wayne had on that cd was very vivid.. And I hear you, I got this Love/Appreciation for music for some reason as well.. Feel like it's a great form of expression whether it be through lyrics, or a couple drum kicks, and piano keys..

I'm not tryna put people on this guy Lupe, it's just to me, dude is an incredible artist.. In my book, best lyricist of all time.. LYRICIST..

And it's coo for people to listen to they type of music.. "To each its own".. But Em was on point with that line "it's about a hot beat".. That's all people like these days, and that's coo for them, but it aint a great indicator of good music.. I prefer the music that illicits some type of emotion/appreciation.. Music that's made for the fan.. This Em line paints a picture of what I'm talking bout..

O Le Do It, Hey..

Well, you know, it's Game Day and what not.. I aint go get no shots up this morning partly due to the fact that I aint wanna wake up.. Just finished going through this study guide for this Midterm on Tuesday for this Rhetoric and Social Controversy.. I basically don't know anything that's going on in that class, mainly cuz I don't pay attention.. And we got that ever so present "I wanna interrupt the teacher all the time, and go off on tangents with my comments and questions and remarks" type of guy in my class.. My classmates hate that guy, hahaha, it's hilarious to me.. Every time he speaks its like a unison of "damn why is this guy talking again" looks.. You can find me in the same boat, or playing one of the apps on my phone.. But, besides that, I don't even have the book, and the test is short answer based on the readings.. Hahhaha.. This is going to be very interesting to say the least.. I'm low key confident at the same time tho, for reasons I am unaware of.. Maybe it's naive-ness.. We shall see tho..

Prior to this studying, I found myself lost on the net, as usual.. Stumbled upon Lupe Fiascos website and started peeping some of his videos.. My likness of the guys music just jumped even higher on the scale, especially when I seen the freestyle he kicked in NY for about 7 minutes.. Not like the traditional freestyle, more along the lines of spoken word, without the uplifting factor, per se.. Watched some interviews as well.. Pretty coo stuff.. At first I seen the tracklist only had 9 tracks, which had me a lil heated, ahahha.. Peeped KillerHipHop.com and seen that there is actually 12 songs, which is still not a lot, but I'm pretty sure it'll be dope.. My mans hit me on Twitter talking bout I should get the Wiz and Wayne cd's when they drop.. And that's where we finna take it..

You peoples obsessions (spellchecked by BAY) with these guys baffles me.. Wayne is dope, I can't stunt, but people think dudes rhymes are beyond deep.. I can understand what this guy says most of the time on the first listen or maybe 2.. I'm not saying he's not tight just cuz he aint deep like that, but that's just the type of music I enjoy.. But I just dont like when folks be like dude is "deep", or his "swag" is tight.. I don't care about no one swag cuz.. And this Wiz guy done got people messed up.. Like Wayne started making mad people get tattoos a year or two ago, Wiz done got everyone and they Moms smoking.. Like you aint coo just cuz you smoke, ahhaha.. I mean, if you choose to smoke, go head, but to smoke or do anything just cuz a famous person does it is quite lame to me.. Shoulder shrug tho, cuz thats yall peoples lives.. But back to the cd's.. I decided I won't purchase Wiz cd most likely because I don't want to.. I like the way dude flows, but his content don't really tickle my fancy (yep, i used it).. The Wayne tho, might get a purchase from the kid, he usually has some decent cuts.. I'll mos def cop this Slaughterhouse joint this Tuesday on the 8th tho with my newfound likeness of Joell Ortiz (shouts out to B for putting me on) and Joe Budden (thanks to Mood Muzik 4 and Ordinary Love pt 1).. That cd hopefully will be tight..

I got a grip of cd's/mixtapes I gotta peep tho.. Talib Kweli, Neyo, this guy Tiron just to name a few..

And this guy Trey Songz murdered this got dern Look At Me Now song.. Sheesh.. Hahahha..

Mmm hmm.. What uuuuppp..

Finally caught some details on the iPhone 5 release via Google.. I'll throw some specs out that interested me.. The introduction of the A5 or I5 chip or whateva is gon be dope.. Makes the phone something like 4 times faster than the ip4.. The phone is already faster than my wifi on campus, so that's gon be sweet.. They finally gon make a bigger jump when it comes to camera performance, idk exactly the megapixels but hopefully it's decent enough to not be mad about.. I know its not gon be incredible because Apple doesn't want to make the perfect phone even though they have the means/technology/intelligence to do it, mainly because they want the consumers to keep buying them.. I am one of the culprits of this massive consumerism.. (Shoulder shrug).. Anywho.. Next item, astounded the kid.. Idk how it's gonna work, but basically, your ip5 will be your atm card, like you just slide it or scan it over the counter or whateva and it acts as your "wallet".. Crazy stuff.. Prolly won't use that tool, but its tight to say that you can if you want.. All in all, I'm hyped for this ip5 release loc.. June or July.. And for you people who choose Verizon over ATT, and expect Verizon to get the 5, you are wrong, on so many levels.. Hahha.. Na, Verizon doesn't have a contract with the 5 (just yet) that's all, so ATT customers will be the only rockers of thee 5 guy.. Lo siento..

Another thing that I'm hyped on is this release of Lupe Fiasco's third album.. LASERS.. It's been too long since I've heard some real great music (Kanye album was incredible tho).. But Lu been slippin on the music, or at least his label been bullin.. But that release this week of Words I Never Said ft Skylar Grey is amazing.. Only rapper I can think of since Nas with his Untitled album that is tackling issues or situations in society.. I mean dudes first line of the track is so dope.. Wait.. DOPE!!!!.. "I think the War on Terror is a bunch of bull****".. Who else would even say that, and make it their single? That's too ill to me.. I'm catching word via Twitter that he has like a bundle pack of like 50 bucks.. Including a Tee, poster, cd, and 2 downloads or something.. From a Marketing standpoint.. Niice.. Too juiced about this album tho, first two were dope, so I'm pretty sure this ones gon be crazy ill.. The Show Goes On is another track that he dropped, inspirational like crazy.. The guitar on that track in incredible..

Let's get this thing started with some philosophical thinking being that I'm in this philosophy class, bored out of my mind..

I've come to the conclusion that if I drank, and got drunk, I could get away with so much that I can't get away with being sober 24/7.. That's far from fair in my book, but (shoulder shrug).. Its a good excuse to do as you please, (drinking that is).. Fun stuff..

I been catching a little bit of what's going on in Egypt and what not via the CNN app on the iP4 guy.. I'm not too sure what exactly sparked everything, but my African Brother put me on game low key.. These people got the president scared to even run for re-election.. I could be wrong, but that's what the people want anyway so I guess they've done their job.. My thing is people roun campus mainly, seem so astonished by what's going on over there like we don't have problems over here in America ourselves on our streets.. People killing people for seemingly no reason, at least not on that high of a grand scale.. Stuff is crazy period..

The question of whether or not verbal flirtation is considered cheating when in a relationship came up yesterday in one of my classes.. I'll tackle this with the basis that everyones answer will be different because its mainly opinionated.. My answer would have to be flirting is coo, but if you lead people on, knowingly, one your an asshole, and two that's just f'd up.. Hahaha.. But intentions come into play when flirting, if you genuinely just flirting as normal conversation without the idea somewhere in your mind that I wanna get with this other person then you good money.. But we all know as Humans that is rarely if ever the case.. So with that being said, I think flirting comes with a physical attraction and being that this is the case you can't help but flirt, especially if it's with someone who you are physically attracted to.. You can say that it's coo as long as you don't act on the words being said, but words have just as much of an impact as actions do, it's just that actions back up words.. Ultimately, I guess my answer is.. Flirting is not cheating, it's Human Nature.. But like my man's Baby Jesus said "It's frowned upon"..
